Board decisions without coordinating five calendars
In volunteer work the scarcest resource is not money but a free evening. That is where decisions fail that nobody actually disagrees with – so that is where Beschlussmanager starts.
The typical cases
Approving a budget
The kit has to be ordered by Friday. The resolution runs for three days, six of seven vote, the outcome is filed as a PDF.
Admitting a member
An application, a written resolution, a documented outcome – instead of a nod in passing that nobody can evidence later.
Preparing the discharge
When the auditors present their report, the year’s resolutions are complete. Nobody reconstructs from email what was decided in 2025.
Between two meetings
Urgent matters do not wait six weeks for the next board meeting. And they do not need an extra slot that three people cannot make.
Statutes first, software second
Whether a resolution without a meeting is valid is decided by your statutes, not by Beschlussmanager. Some allow the written procedure explicitly, some are silent, some require everyone’s consent.
So the honest first step is not signing up but reading your own statutes. If they are silent on the point, that is exactly the clause worth adding at the next general meeting.
Common questions
May our board decide without a meeting at all?
That is in your statutes and in the law for your legal form. Many statutes explicitly allow written resolutions, some only with everyone’s consent. Where no such clause exists, the statutory default applies and is usually stricter. Have someone read your statutes before you decide on software.
Does Beschlussmanager replace the general meeting?
No. Beschlussmanager is built for resolutions in committees – board, advisory board, working group. A general meeting with speaker lists and live ballots needs a meeting platform; that is a different product.
Do board members have to install anything?
No. Voting only needs the link from the email. Only people who create and manage resolutions sign in to Beschlussmanager.
What does it cost for a small association?
The tiers are on the pricing page with the number of included members. Billing is per organisation, not per member – an association with 400 members whose seven-person board decides pays for the organisation, not for 400 people.
Ready for the first resolution?
We set up your organisation and get back to you within one working day. No payment details, no contract as a first step.
